Pandit swarpradnya Milind Raikar, who is Disciple of, Padmashri Pandit D.K.Datar and Padmavibhushan Gaansaraswati Kishori Amonkar, is very renowned Violinist of Today's Generation.

Milind has developed Unique 'Gayaki' style of playing Violin. It is very melodious, soothing and soulful. His performances are scintillating and brilliant due to this unique style .He has cultivated his music with a perfect coalesce of tutelage that he has received from various Gurus of high acclaim.

Initially he studied western music from Goa's well-known Violinist Prof. A. P. DaCosta but shifted to Hindustani Classical Music, under the able guidance of his father Late Shri Atchut Raikar, Pt.B.S.Math (Dharwad) and Pt.Vasantrao Kadnekar ( Goa) . Government of India and Kala Academy of Goa awarded him Scholarship . He is a Gold Medalist from All India Radio and Recipient of many Awards, and the list is very long. Some of them are

He is the First musician to receive Fellowship from Civitella Raneiri.-Italy- His recital was telecasted on
RAI TV. (Italy.) He is First Indian Classical Violinist to perform in 'Bang On A Can'- New York , and the
same concert was Broadcasted on New York Radio.

His Music albums named Milap,Relaxation,Desire,Dawn to Dusk,Serenity, Guruvandana- A Tribute to my Guru Gaansaraswati Kishori Amonkar,Rain came down in Torrents, are already in music world. As a feather in his cap. his Album " GURUVANDANA " was nominated for 'GIMA' Awards -2016. Tonus Music Labor- Switzerland has released his Album in Switzerland . He Has performed in Major Classical concerts in India as well as in USA, Germany, Switzerland,France, UAE, East african countries. He has established Raikar Acdemy of Violin in the year 2006, to propagate " Gayaki style of Playing violin , of his Guru, Padmashree Pt. D.K Datar, where students of age 5 to 80 yrs come to learn Violin.
